I survived my first Chicago winter in a long time. It wasn't so bad. It was much worse when we used to live downtown and had to walk everywhere. But with a car for the first time in 8 years, I have to say, it wasn't so bad. I actually never put a pair of gloves on once - except to shovel snow. Of which there was a lot. So anyway, the point of this post is not to talk about the cold, but to talk about the warm. And yesterday it was finally warm. Ish. So, I decided it was time to plant some seeds with the kiddos.
